26 acre sub-tropical valley garden. The garden has an impressive display of rhododendrons, gunnera, hydrangeas and palms. There are numerous pools and the garden leads down to a small private beach.

The original jail was built for King George III in 1779. The jail you see today was built by the prisoners who brought the 20,000 tons of granite from Bodmin's "Cuckoo Quarry".

Standard gauge railway that operates mainly steam trains on a 13 mile round trip through beautiful countryside. Diesel engines are also used, particularly on Saturdays.
Dogs are carried free on all standard service trains. Please keep dogs on the floor and not on the furniture and keep your dog on a short lead whilst on the platforms and the train.
